Tissue Processing Technician- Weekend

Responsibilities

• CS (Central Services) Decontaminating, cleaning, and sterilizing reusable equipment and supplies that are utilized in Production.
• Tissue Processing Safely and aseptically processing human tissue and cell products according to applicable SOPs, WIs, and product specifications.
• Depending on the product/process, the Tissue Processing Technician may utilize various tools, equipment, machinery, and chemicals.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of general work experience
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed procedures, written and verbal instruction in English
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
• Preferred Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
• AATB and/or CTBS certification
• Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution (CSPD)
• Previous FDA and/or Tissue Banking experience
• Previous tissue/cell processing or Central Supply experience

$24.50

Schedule

Friday-Sunday; 6:00am - 6:30pm (3 days onsite); Shift Differential: $22/hr plus $2.50/hr shift differential for the weekend shift
