Tire Test Technician - Findlay, OH

Responsibilities

• Grading of each cured tire that does not meet the Company finished product standards based on production tire inspectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all General Specifications to apply to cured tires.
• In-depth analysis of uniformity throw outs (including radial, lateral, and conicity).
• Determine the disposition for the tires (first line, blemish, repair or scrap).
• Vigilantly notify Production and/or Quality departments of serious conditions missed by production inspectors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Likely to be required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations.

• One year of equivalent work experience or a Technical Associate Degree.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Dependable job attendance is expected.

Skills

Pay

$23.02 per hour / $47,881.60 annually

Schedule

2nd Shift (Standard 8 Hour shift is from 3:00pm – 11:00pm)

Work Environment

Findlay, Ohio Plant
Fast-paced, heavy industrial environment
Non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
Exposure to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, fumes, and noise
