Test Technician

Responsibilities
- Assembly
- Assemble cooling plates and complete cooling loop systems in accordance with released work instructions and controlled documentation
- Install and verify fluid fittings, tubing, manifolds, and sealing interfaces
- Maintain repeatability and consistency across specimens
- Handle components in accordance with cleanliness and quality requirements
- Test & Verification
- Execute defined test procedures to confirm product performance, operating, and support test equipment such as: Flow measurement systems, Pressure instrumentation, Thermal test setups (including installing thermocouples on cold plates), Data acquisition tools
- Document test results in accordance with quality system requirements
- Follow company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Good Manufacturing Procedures
- Review and update manufacturing records and work orders, identify and correct errors, and submit finished documentation for quality release
- Perform quality checks and inspections
- Inspect final parts, test material properties, and record data
- Support troubleshooting efforts

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical training or an associate’s degree in a mechanical, manufacturing, or related discipline preferred
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in:
- Mechanical assembly
- Fluid systems
- Functional testing environments
- Experience assembling pressure-containing or fluid-based systems
- Familiarity with threaded fluid connections
- Experience working with O-ring and gasket sealing practices
- Experience using torque tools and standard inspection equipment
- Ability to follow controlled procedures and work instructions
- Functional testing experience with fluid systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with leak testing methods such as pressure decay and helium leak checking (preferred)
- Familiarity with flow or pressure-based test setups (preferred)
- Familiarity with common thermal testing methods, such as surface thermocouples (preferred)
- Ability to operate a computer-based data acquisition system and interpret basic test data (preferred)
- Familiarity with metrology, 3D printing, robotics, CNC machining, and spreadsheet software (plus)
Qualifications
- Ability to work within ISO-controlled or other regulated manufacturing environments (preferred)
- Able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs independently, 50 lbs with assist
Skills
- Ability to work within ITAR-controlled environments

Pay
SALARY RANGE: $48,000 - $72,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
Schedule
This role requires 5 days onsite per week.
