Tire Technician - Off Road Vehicles
General Description
A Tire Technician is responsible for installing, balancing, repairing, and maintaining tires on various vehicles, mainly off-road vehicles. Their duties include inspecting tire tread and sidewalls for wear or damage, rotating tires, patching punctures, and ensuring proper tire pressure. Tire Technicians also help customers choose the right tires for their vehicles and provide advice on tire care to maximize safety and lifespan.
Regularly works near moving machinery/tools which requires good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination, must be able to move quickly and have excellent stamina.
Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects (over 50 lbs.), use legs, hips, shoulders, abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and climb a ladder
