We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Tire Technician to support a busy commercial service operation in Cantonment, FL. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining safety and efficiency while servicing semi-trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Remove, install, and repair tires on semi-trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles
- Perform tire rotations, balancing, and pressure checks
- Inspect tires and wheels for damage, wear, and safety concerns
- Repair punctures and perform retreading or replacements as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of tires and supplies
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Complete service documentation and work orders accurately
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- Previous tire technician or mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to lift and handle heavy tires and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable with good attendance and work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment required for tire service
Pay
$17.00/hour to start
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
