Tire Technician
About the role
The Tire Technician at Belle Tire is the core of our business and a great starting point to a rewarding career. You will provide expert tire services, including installation, maintenance, repairs, and tire rotations, while ensuring all work meets Belle Tire's high-quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on customer vehicles
- Ensure all work meets Belle Tire's high-quality and safety standards, including cleaning hubs and wheels for corrosion
- Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager
Requirements
- 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in tire services or automotive repair
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Bend and lift up to 75 pounds
Work Environment
- Based within a tire and automotive service retail store
- Varying work hours, Monday through Saturday, with possible overtime
- Fast-paced workshop setting with physical demands, including extended standing and heavy lifting
