Tire Mounting Technician

About the role

As a Mounting Program Technician at Pomp's Tire Service, you'll play a critical role in our daily operations in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and consistency are key for managing and maintaining mounted tire assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Mount single, three, and five piece wheels/tires
• Read and understand customer drawings
• Preassemble wheels and organize wheels and tires for mounter
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor

Requirements

• Basic tire and tire mounting knowledge (helpful)
• Knowledge and ability to use various digital tools, technologies, and programs to complete job tasks efficiently and effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and co-workers (required to talk and hear)
• Regularly lift, upright, push, or move 50 pounds; occasionally upright, push, or move 100 pounds
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull, and reach without difficulty
• Frequent kneeling, bending over, and back
• Stand continuously throughout the shift
