Plate Mounter Technician

Responsibilities

• Follow the job schedule for each press.
• Keep as many jobs mounted ahead as possible to stay ahead of press schedules.
• Minimize scrap by using the correct adhesive for the type of art on plates.
• Use hot melt glue on plate edges and wrap mounted plates with plastic wrap to prevent lifting.
• Be prepared to re-mount plates and fix worn plates at all times.
• Maintain proper amounts of plate adhesive and notify the Supervisor when supplies are low.
• Communicate any problems with the Lead Person or Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and protect the privacy of sensitive information.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Basic mechanical skills.
