Tire and Lube Technician

The Tire and Lube Technician position at Hertz Rent-A-Car offers a high-charged, energy-filled environment with the benefits of joining an industry leader. This entry-level role is the launching point for the maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, focusing on Oil and Tire Changes
- Quickly learn and use a variety of tools including oil filter wrenches, socket sets, and a toolbox
- Work under supervision to perform vehicle repairs
- Use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional) is preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
Qualifications
- Ability to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
- Knowledge of using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
Skills
- Familiarity with the following tools (provided):
- 3/8” and ½” impact wrench
- Sockets wrench - metric and standard - preferably long and short lengths
- Oil Filter wrenches and tools
- TPMS tool - reset tire sensors
- Combo wrenches
- Screwdrivers
