Tire and Lube Technician

About the role

The Tire and Lube Technician position at Hertz Rent-A-Car offers a high-charged, energy-filled environment with the benefits of joining an industry leader. This entry-level role serves as the launching point for the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, focusing on Oil and Tire Changes.
• Quickly learn and use a variety of tools, including oil filter wrenches, socket sets, and a toolbox.
• Work under supervision to perform vehicle repairs.
• Use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional) is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight.
• Must have the ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.
• Must be familiar with the provided tools: 3/8” and ½” impact wrenches, sockets, oil filter wrenches, TPMS tool, combo wrenches, screwdrivers.

Qualifications

A valid driver's license is required.

• Assortment of tools, including oil filter wrenches, socket set, and a toolbox.

Benefits

Wage: $16.50/hr.

Hours may vary based on business needs.
