Timber Surface Treatment Operator

About the role

The primary responsibility is to operate machinery that applies protective coatings to timber surfaces. This includes loading and unloading timber, operating surface treatment machines, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to apply protective coatings to timber surfaces
• Load and unload timber from storage areas
• Operate surface treatment machines according to safety guidelines
• Maintain and perform routine checks on machinery

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand safety procedures
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer skills (optional)

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
• Knowledge of safety protocols and first aid is beneficial
