Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor sawmill equipment
- Process logs into quality lumber products
- Inspect materials and finished products
- Follow production and safety procedures
- Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
- Work with team members to maintain an efficient production flow
- Perform basic equipment checks and maintenance
Requirements
- Dependable and motivated
- Works well as part of a team
- Pays attention to detail
- Can follow instructions and safety procedures
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Willing to learn how to operate sawmill equipment
Previous experience in a sawmill, lumber, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environment is helpful but not required.
