TILE- RECTIFYING TECHNICIAN - B SHIFT

About the role

As the Rectifying Technician, you will ensure tile is precisely sized and finished to meet quality standards for proper installation. This role supports safety, quality, and operational efficiency in the Additional Finishes department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols throughout the plant and maintain a safe working environment in the Additional Finishes department.
• Follow the Quality Management System, certified to ISO 9001, for all finishing operations.
• Perform Lock/Tag/Test audits and assist in delivering weekly safety training materials.
• Ensure product specifications are followed in the Additional Finishes department.
• Review preventive maintenance (PM), lubrication (type of grease, oil, and chemical products), and assist in coordinating department operations.
• Train new hires on safety, quality policy, management systems, finishing equipment operations, and product knowledge.
• Work with the maintenance team to develop and sustain operator basic care programs.
• Fill in and provide relief for all Additional Finishes job functions as needed.
• Operate loader and unloader machines, change setups, and complete basic maintenance tasks.
• Assist in water treatment duties and application of chemical products.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
