About the role
Join the youth editorial team of the SÜDKURIER and help produce local journalism from your perspective. The youth editorial team is entering its second round. We are looking for creative minds who enjoy producing short TikToks with their own ideas on topics that interest them and their peers. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity, creativity, and an interest in media.
Why participate
Your topics matter. In the new youth editorial team, you can try out how journalism works—from idea to publication. We'll show you how to find topics, conduct interviews, shoot and edit videos, and you help decide what gets covered.
What to expect
- Your own contributions online on the SÜDKURIER social media channels
- Insights into editorial work and content creation
- Exchange with experienced journalists and other young people
- A place to share your opinion—and be heard
How it works
Apply: Apply online and provide your age, place of residence, and school or training program. If you like, upload a short video explaining why you want to participate.
Publishing: You can produce your video contributions flexibly and receive a flat-rate expense allowance per TikTok for shooting, editing, and production.
