Tig Welder

About the role

We're hiring TIG Welders to work on precision components using GTAW techniques on aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and other exotic alloys in Columbus, MS.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on thin-walled, precision components to tight dimensional tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and Welding Procedure Specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including orbital welding systems, jigs, and fixtures
• Conduct weld inspections and maintain accurate documentation of weld parameters and results
• Support quality audits and maintain compliance with industry welding standards
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of welding experience in a precision manufacturing environment
• Proven skill with thin materials and exotic alloys
• AWS Certified Welder to D17.1, or equivalent
• Ability to read GD&T and blueprints
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)
• High school diploma or GED; technical welding training preferred

Pay

$22–$44/hour
