Job Objective
- Safely operates weaving machines - Tie warp with tie-in machine and un-rack warp after tying - Repair problem warps to avoid reties - Help pull over warp until knots are past reed and all ends drawn properly - Carry waste and clamps to proper container - Keep tie-in machine and rack clean - Assist weavers with major breakouts when time allows - Follow safety rules prescribed by plantRequirements
- Must be able to repair warp breaks no matter where they occur - Must be able to read basic written instructions - Must be able to write legibly - Must be able to perform simple math - Must be able to distinguish colors in stock-in-process and waste - Must be able to wear ear plugs, respirator/dust mask, goggles/eye protection, and other protective pieces of equipmentBenefits
