Ticket Seller (Part-Time)

About the role

The Bon Secours Wellness Arena is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to fill the role of part-time Ticket Seller. As a key member of our box office team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service while selling tickets for various events hosted at the arena. Your day-to-day tasks will include utilizing our ticketing system, assisting customers with their ticket inquiries, and handling cash transactions efficiently. Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to guests visiting the ticket office
• Use the Ticketmaster system to sell tickets and process transactions accurately
• Address customer inquiries regarding events, ticket pricing, policies, and seating availability
• Assist customers with digital ticketing issues, including ticket transfers and account access
• Perform cash handling responsibilities, including issuing refunds and balancing cash drawers
• Ensure the box office area is tidy and organized
• Work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service (including part-time, internships, and volunteer roles)
• At least 1 year of experience handling cash and processing transactions
• Comfortable using technology, including computers and mobile devices; familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service and effectively manage inquiries
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain composure under pressure

Benefits

• Bi-weekly pay with direct deposit required
• Hourly rate: $11.50 per hour
• FLSA status: non-exempt
• Average shift length: 4 hours per event
