Thunder Jet Boat Rigger

About the role

As part of the talented Thunder Jet team, you will be responsible for installing and wiring 12-volt electrical components, water hoses, hatches, doors, dashes, pumps, engines etc. for all boat models. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire 12-volt electrical components, water hoses, hatches, doors, dashes, pumps, engines, etc. for all boat models
• Learn mechanical components and assembly
• Understand electrical wiring schematics, work orders, and work instructions while remaining highly organized in part assembly
• Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools
• Shape, mount, cut, clamp and install various fittings
• Work in an innovative team environment to produce the highest quality of aluminum boats on the market
• Manage time effectively
• Perform general housekeeping and maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Dependable attendance
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Willingness to work overtime to meet production needs

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous history in wiring, boating and mechanical field

Work Environment

• Frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit, and use arms, hands, and fingers
• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Moderate to high noise level in the manufacturing setting

Pay

The anticipated pay range for this position is grade 2.5–3.0: $20.20–$21.75 per hour. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
