Marine Rigger

Description Portland Yacht Services is seeking a Marine Rigger to join our Rig Shop. Our Rig Shop specializes in the inspection, service, repair, installation, and maintenance of sailboat rigging, spars, and related equipment. This position is full-time, year round and offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of sailboats and projects, from seasonal stepping and unstepping to rigging repairs, upgrades, and custom work. Requirements Previous professional marine rigging experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with sailing, boatyard, construction, fabrication, or other relevant hands-on experience who are interested in learning the marine rigging trade.
