The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is seeking Trades Subjects Substitute Teachers. Substitutes play a key role in the education process, with a daily rate of pay of $200.00. CTECS operates seventeen schools across Connecticut, offering 30 technology and trade areas.

The system operates 17 diploma-granting technical high schools, one technical education center, and two airframe mechanics and aircraft maintenance programs. Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years of trade experience, as evidenced on the application
- Submission to required DCF and criminal background checks
- Educational Employer Verification Form if you have current or previous employment in a position with contact with children
