The Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR is seeking a professional and caring individual to join their team. The center provides quality services to local youth and values dedication to improving people's lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Cookordination with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.

Requirements

• Combination of education and experience providing knowledge and skills to instruct in the designated career training area.
• Substitute teaching certification/license, as required by the state of employment.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
