Thrift Store Associate

About the role

The Idaho Youth Ranch is one of the oldest non-profit agencies in Idaho, dedicated to nurturing hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth through accessible programs and services.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the mission by helping to fund Idaho’s youth programs and services through the sale of donated items in our Thrift Stores.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure WOWing our customers.
• Work weekends to support the operations of the Thrift Stores.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading/moving equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills to engage and delight our customers.
• Ability to work on weekends to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or similar customer-facing roles is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
