About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and helping to ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving potential issues promptly.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and assisting with product location.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Offer customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel during regular shifts, contributing to their growth and career development.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that enhance health and wellness.

Requirements

• Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
• Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
