Role Overview: Seeking a Specialist Director, Threat Management to lead threat management and MDR services within a managed security practice. Key Responsibilities Define strategy and develop roadmaps for threat detection, hunting, intelligence, incident response, automation, and service modernization.Oversee security platform operations across endpoints, networks, cloud, data, email, SIEM, and SOAR, ensuring governance and 24/7 readiness.Enhance cyber defense through integrated telemetry, detection improvements, streamlined triage, and automation.Build and mature security services by establishing operating models, onboarding processes, governance, and workflows.Act as a trusted advisor to executive and client stakeholders on security operations, platform health, and cyber defense outcomes.Lead and develop high-performing teams of analysts, engineers, threat hunters, and service professionals. Qualifications & Skills At least eight years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership in security operations, MDR, threat management, or cyber defense.Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications preferred.Deep expertise in NDR, detection engineering, telemetry analysis, IDS/IPS, SIEM/SOAR integration, and threat-informed defense.Experience managing 24/7 security operations, incident response, service reliability, and SLA/KPI management.Strong stakeholder management skills, advising senior leaders and aligning cross-functional teams.Proficiency in MDR, threat detection, EDR/XDR, NDR, SIEM, SOAR, and cyber service delivery. Additional Information: Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. The role involves travel as needed.
