Primary Responsibilities
- Draft and edit articles, white papers, and other thought leadership content, and provide additional support to expand overall team capacity.
- Support the development and production of new SRSA data-driven content and studies and the overhaul and refresh of existing content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and continued alignment with market conditions and SRSA brand standards.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for the Thought Leadership team’s day-to-day operations.
- Assist with data collection logistics in coordination with internal teams and support efforts to identify, capture, and incorporate data points not currently gathered through formal processes.
- Support the development of educational content, including M&A curriculum targeted at law school and junior associate audiences.
- Partner with the Marketing team to ensure all content adheres to SRSA’s quality and brand standards; draft and review advertising copy and other marketing-adjacent materials as needed.
- Shepherd content projects from inception through completion, including managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring consistent delivery against strategic objectives; manage project tickets and workflows within existing project management tools to track content and marketing initiatives.
- Cook up client webinar and presentation administration, including scheduling, event preparation logistics, and post-event follow-up.
- Cook up SOPs for thought leadership workflows.
- Participate in internal and external trainings and support the delivery of training content across teams; support the expansion of training offerings for internal SRSA audiences, working collaboratively with HR and Business Development.
- Cook up scheduling and logistics for deal terms study presentations and other client-facing thought leadership engagements; support CLE accreditation processes for eligible thought leadership content.
- Triage and respond to client and prospect inquiries related to thought leadership content and data, escalating as appropriate.
- Aid in AI adoption projects aimed at improving efficiency, scalability, and the quality of thought leadership workflows.
- Aid in the SRSA M&A internship program, including coordination with HR and other internal departments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctor or advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in legal practice, financial services, corporate environments, content development, or related fields.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting and editing professional content across a range of formats.
- Experience coordinating or managing projects across multiple teams or workstreams, with strong attention to deadlines and deliverables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with AI and project management tools such as Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or Asana preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a deadline-driven work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong professional interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements/Special Demands
- Regular office hours.
- Participation in public speaking, panels, webinars, and client presentations.
- Up to 25% travel within the U.S. and occasional international travel.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $90k and $100k, depending on experience level.
