About the Role

Join Creighton University Medical Center's transformed new chapter in Heart & Chest Care as a thoracic surgery advanced practice provider. Provide specialized tailored care to benefit our patients and their outcomes. This exceptional position would join another member to work the weekday day shift.

Responsibilities

  • Active Rounding
  • Pulling Chest Tubes
  • Replacing Feeding Tubes
  • Checking on Vitals
  • Checking on Labs
  • Running Interference for the Attending Physician
  • Managing Treatment Plans

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited advanced practice training program (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
  • Meet board eligibility or certification requirements
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and health-care professionals
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families

Qualifications

Required:
