Store/School Hours

8 am - 430 pm Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays as needed.

About the Role

The Caterpillar Dealer Service Technology Program is a high-demand field opportunity for students to receive their Associate in Applied Sciences while working a paid internship. Additionally, there is a tuition reimbursement program available for students.

Responsibilities

• Attend Illinois Central College for 8 weeks rotations
• Complete an 8-week internship at an Altorfer branch
• Take courses such as Fundamentals of Hydraulics, Caterpillar Engine Fuel Systems, Fundamentals of Electrical Systems, Diagnostic Testing, and Undercarriage/Final Drives
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
• May intermittently sit for periods of time to communicate via email

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a junior college with an above-average GPA
• Self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills
• Team-oriented and committed to attention to detail
• Must have or be receiving a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work overtime and some weekends when needed
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record

• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must have or be receiving a High School Diploma or equivalent
