Your Tasks

  • Conduct infrared thermographic surveys on electrical, mechanical, and process systems using IR cameras and condition monitoring tools.
  • Analyze and interpret high-level electrical diagrams and manufacturing process drawings.
  • Deliver clear and timely Infrared Survey Reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with client site personnel and TÜV SÜD/GRC teams to assess system health and risks.
  • Travel extensively across Kentucky & Tennessee to perform on-site inspections.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance/Reliability Technician or Commercial Electrician.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Certified Infrared Thermographer.
  • Certified Ultrasound Operator.
  • Military technical background in electrical or infrared systems.
  • Proficiency with infrared software and Microsoft Office tools.

Additional Information

  • The anticipated hourly base pay range for this full-time position is $30/hour – $37.50/hour.
  • Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity.

  • Expectation of 75–80% travel across Kentucky and Tennessee with periodic travel nationally.
  • Physical activity required: walking, climbing, bending, and carrying equipment.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: safety boots, helmet, glasses, hearing protection, Arc Flash clothing, etc.
