Required
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, or related engineering field, or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of experience
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to research and prepare technical memorandums, field reports, and report sections
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills for effective collaboration
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area

Key Responsibilities
- Work in a remote/hybrid environment, maintaining clear communication on schedules, deliverables, and priorities
- Assist in civil/environmental design and project support, including:
- Site plans
- Erosion and sediment control plans
- Stormwater management plans
- Permit application preparation
- Participate in field work, sampling, construction monitoring, and reporting
- Manage multiple fast-paced projects across diverse geographies
- Ensure compliance with ERM’s world-class Health and Safety Program
Pay
The anticipated annual base pay for the Consultant, Engineer position is $70,500 – $97,429(USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
Qualifications
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or current registration for the F.E. exam
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D, GIS Software, and/or Hydraflow/HydroCAD
- Prior internship or professional experience in civil/environmental engineering
- Willingness to travel for field work
