Thermoforming Operator, Molder (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate acrylic tubs and shower bases according to production manuals
  • Sand, buff, trim, and repair products to meet quality standards
  • Perform thermoforming of tub fronts and bend tub rails
  • Cut and shape acrylic components using band saws, routers, and other tools
  • Operate production machinery and equipment safely
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure packaging standards are met
  • Transport materials, molds, and inventory to workstations
  • Take precise measurements using tape measures and measuring devices
  • Rotate across different workstations as production needs require
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or production environments preferred
  • Ability to operate saws, routers, robots, and other cutting tools
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Ability to accurately use measuring tools and tape measures
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Comfort working in environments with heat, humidity, and moving mechanical parts
  • Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (such as Navision) is an asset

Qualifications

At Bath Fitter’s Tennessee Plant, we are looking for a detail-oriented, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working with their hands and being part of a fast-paced production team. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or production environments, and basic math and measurement skills.

Pay

$22.62/hour starting, with a $3/hour differential after 3 months
