Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery according to established production needs/requirements while inspecting finished products for quality.
- Set-up, load proper size/type rolls, start, adjust process variables, diagnose, troubleshoot, and properly shut down process equipment in accordance with published production schedules and product specifications.
- Assist inspector/packers and material handling personnel.
- Follow prescribed methods for machine operation to ensure the highest level of machine efficiency and product yield.
- Perform minor maintenance functions on the production equipment, or notify maintenance if needed, to ensure process machinery meets production levels.
- Notify the shift supervisor and/or production manager of significant deviations from normal operating conditions.
- Perform duties in a safe/responsible manner and maintain general work area cleanliness and orderliness.
- Manage time effectively and accurately report production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Required
- At least 1 year of machine operation experience or schooling equivalent.
- Experience working in a factory environment preferred.

Physical Demands
- Constantly required to: moderate to heavy lifting, work on their feet for long periods, use hand tools, form materials, and assemble.
