Thermoforming Operator
Job Description
This position is responsible for operating Thermoforming equipment throughout the facility.
- Ability to use measurement instruments to check work.
- Adjusts and notifies Tooling personnel the need for more complex machine adjustments.
- Removes parts from the press.
- Loads and removes inserts in the mold (“change over”) and inspects parts.
- Packs plastic containers and lids of various sizes into sleeves and boxes per packing specifications.
- Grinds scrap material out of sleeves when needed.
- Able to accurately read and operate machine’s computer console.
- Responsible for the overall continuing manufacturing process.
- Set up and install mold bases.
- Completes all paperwork as required.
- Able to use and understand Insight and Gainseeker.
- Responsible for hourly retain rack checks.
- Verifies the quality of the product and reports issues to QC.
- Housekeeping as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- + 1 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in Thermoforming.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to other departments to meet production goals.
