About the role

The Therapy Team Leader supports the Director of Therapy Operations in managing daily team activities, ensuring effective supervision, communication, and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise therapist assistants and technicians, delegate tasks, assist with staffing, scheduling, orientation, and training to ensure adequate patient coverage.
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to meet patient, staff, and hospital needs.
• Provide patient care within the licensed discipline for the majority of work hours.
• Foster an environment that aligns with the hospital’s mission, promoting staff accountability, performance improvement, and departmental assessment.
• Mentor staff to enhance clinical skills and overall performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong supervisory and communication skills.
• Competency in licensed discipline evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and departmental efficiency.
