About the role

The Therapy Team Leader supports daily operations of a therapy discipline, overseeing staff supervision, interdepartmental communication, and patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Delegating tasks to therapist assistants and technicians
• Managing staffing, scheduling, training, and ensuring adequate coverage for treatments
• Maintaining open communication with hospital departments to meet patient, staff, and hospital needs
• Fostering a positive environment aligned with the hospital's mission by motivating staff, ensuring accountability, and driving continuous improvement
• Staff development through mentoring and skill enhancement
• Departmental performance measurement and improvement
