About the role
This position plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, and organized environment where students and clients can learn, grow, and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize the therapy gym, therapy equipment, treatment rooms, and therapy materials throughout the day.
- Vacuum speech therapy rooms and other therapy areas.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize therapy laundry, including linens and therapy items.
- Sanitize, organize, and stock groceries and supplies used in the Feeding Lab.
- Keep therapy supplies organized and stocked.
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday, including bending, kneeling and stooping.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must successfully pass required criminal background checks, Child Maltreatment Registry, Adult Maltreatment Registry, and fingerprinting.
Qualifications
- No experience in a therapy setting is required.
