Therapy Clinical Consultant
About the role
The Clinical Specialist at Gss National Campus is responsible for ensuring clinical competency, regulatory compliance, and the ongoing education and training of the Enterprise Therapy staff. This role leads clinical initiatives and supports operational objectives within a designated region, promoting best practices, quality outcomes, and a consistent standard of care.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains clinical content and EMR's utilized for service line documentation of care delivery.
- Maintains clinical compliance and assists with policy review and updates.
- Reviews billing and coding, and assists with denial management.
- Supports electronic medical record (EMR) management and develops EMR-specific resources.
- Retains contractual relationships with universities and assists with student placement.
- Serves as a subject matter expert, providing consultation and guidance related to clinical interventions and best practice.
- Develops training and resources to promote clinical growth, competency, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitors federal and state regulatory updates, evaluates their impact on therapy practice, and ensures timely communication and education to staff.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure regulatory compliance, facilitate risk reduction, develop training resources, and support Good Samaritan initiatives.
- Coordinates and oversees student placement, ensuring appropriate support, supervision, and monitoring throughout the clinical rotation.
Requirements
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Five years of experience in therapy and rehabilitation, with 2 years in a leadership role.
- Requires current licensure as an Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapist in state or residence.

$43.00 - $71.00 per hour
