Role Overview Provides expert respiratory care by assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient treatment plans. Acts as a clinical resource, collaborates with healthcare teams, and demonstrates leadership in patient care. Ensures comprehensive education for patients and families, supports healthcare improvements, and maintains ongoing professional development. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and develop personalized care plansImplement and evaluate treatment strategiesAdminister prescribed medications and therapiesEducate patients, families, and caregivers about health managementCollaborate effectively with healthcare team membersProvide clinical leadership and support continuous learningComplete assigned goals efficiently Qualifications & Skills Current state license and RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory CareRecent clinical respiratory care experienceBasic computer skills with Windows and Microsoft OfficeCPR certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred Training & Certifications Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientationLicensure exams for Respiratory Care Practitioners; ABG endorsement if applicable
