About the role
The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with various challenges to live dignified and purposeful lives. We seek a Therapist Qualified Mental Health Professional who embodies this mission and is passionate about making a difference.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective individual, couples, & family counseling, as assigned
- Complete clinical assessments meeting program funders and administrative rules
- Refer clients for community-based case management services as needed
- Offer case management services as medically necessary
- Document encounters, consents, and other required information in a timely manner
- Maintain required certifications and attend trainings
- Adhere to AID’s Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures
- Maintain professional judgment and performance despite personal issues
- Promote awareness and respect for client diversity
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a human services field
- Licenses/certifications: Preferred (LPC or LSW)
- At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health
- Flexibility to work evening hours
- Use of personal automobile
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as defined by AID’s policies
- Maintain valid Illinois driver’s license
- Meet/maintain driving record standards as defined by AID’s insurance carrier
Qualifications
Full-time employees receive:
