Therapist

Overview

Crown Point Hospital is adding therapists to its clinical service team to provide outstanding care to patients and their families during their recovery journey. The therapist will offer daily individual and group counseling, along with comprehensive treatment planning and care coordination, under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Requirements

• Master's prepared clinicians with a focus on trauma informed care, compassion, and patient safety
• Education: Master's in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field is required
• Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Counseling: Associate license OR full counseling license required. Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Social Work: associate or temporary license in the state of employment required, full license preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare or acute psychiatric setting preferred
• Previous experience in an acute in-patient behavioral health hospital is a plus
• Experience developing and administering treatment plans
• Individual and group counseling techniques
