About the Role
We are seeking a Therapist to provide individual and group therapy sessions, conduct treatment planning, and deliver family counseling to support patients with psychological, emotional, or substance abuse issues. The role involves active communication with patients, families, referral sources, and an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nursing, and utilization review staff.
Responsibilities
- Complete accurate documentation of therapy sessions and treatment plans
- Perform crisis intervention and assessments
- Develop and implement discharge planning
- Ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and clinical regulations
- Assist with care coordination and contribute to treatment transitions and after-care planning
Requirements
- Current state licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPCC, MFT, LMSW)
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
Skills
- Strong communication and crisis management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of relevant experience
- ASLS certification
