THERAPIST (LICENSED)

About the role

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented Licensed PRN Therapist for our Outpatient/PHP Department. The Social Worker/Therapist plans, provides, coordinates, documents and evaluates direct and indirect social services to patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Plans, provides, coordinates, documents and evaluates direct and indirect social services to patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the hospital.
• Maintains documentation on all required admission, treatment, and discharge documents in accordance with Department/Hospital standards and requirements of regulatory bodies.
• Develops and implements with other clinical staff the Master Treatment Plan and updates as needed.
• Carries out treatment as outlined in the Master Treatment Plan for social Services regarding scope range of practice.
• Collaborate with the physician and the family to ensure that all aspects of the therapeutic process are implemented and carried out.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university; a current Mississippi license as a LCSW, LMSW, or LPC; and two years’ experience in an psychiatric setting.
• PREFERRED: LMSW and four years experience in a psychiatric setting.

Schedule

The position is PRN (as needed) with potential for weekends and evenings.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $XXX - $XXX per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
