Are you a seasoned mental health professional with a passion for crisis intervention and compassionate care? Novant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Therapist to join our Behavioral Health team, supporting patients in their most vulnerable moments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate counseling to individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts, depression or psychotic episodes
• Conduct crisis assessments and develop intervention plans
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy as appropriate
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and care coordinators
• Ensure safety planning, appropriate referrals, and follow-up care
• Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to clinical quality initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Education: Graduate Degree, required. Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, required.
• Experience: Minimum of three years experience, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor or Clinic Ph.D./Psy.D. level Psychologist; required. For the Substance Use Therapist role, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate with above required license; preferred.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire.

Required Additional Skills

• Good working knowledge of computers.
• Ability to care for Behavioral Health Age-Specific populations.
