Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual therapy to children, adolescents and young adults
• Maintain a full caseload
• Develop an individual service plan tailored to meet the clients individual service needs
• Assess, diagnose and treat children, adolescents and young adults with behavioral and emotional disturbances using the DSM-5/ICD-10 criteria
• Coincide with treatment team members and the family in the provision of services to meet the goals developed in the individual service plan
• Provide appropriate documentation for service delivery including treatment goals, progress notes and billing and submit documentation as specified by organizational policies
• Conduct clinical assessments to determine diagnostic eligibility and treatment needs within the priority population as needed (if caseload is not at capacity)
• Monitor client progress, assessing intervention effectiveness for those with severe and persistent mental illness
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulatory guidelines, and complete reporting/training accurately and timely
• Participate in monthly clinical meetings
• Meet with the Clinical Director to review cases, share updates, and collaboratively address any challenges or concerns
• Conduct quarterly trainings as needed for nonclinical staff
• Assist with development of mental health/community resource directory for each site

Requirements, Preferences And Qualifications

• Must maintain CANS and ANSA certifications
• Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA): Must hold an active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of Texas
• Master’s Degrees in social work, counseling, psychology
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
• Experience in play therapy and knowledge of trauma informed practices
• Experience working with children, adolescents and young adults
