About the Role
Therapists provide individual, group, family, and/or couples therapy and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based treatment across PHP, IOP, and Outpatient levels of care for both adult and adolescent clients.
Schedule
PRN, working approximately 4–5 hours per week with the ability to pick up additional coverage hours when available. Targeting ~2 hours around 5:00–7:00 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. General coverage availability is Monday through Thursday afternoons/evenings within the 4:00–8:00 pm time frame.
Pay
Starting hourly compensation range:
- Therapist I (Pre-independently licensed): $26.44 – $31.25
- Therapist II (Independently licensed): $31.25 – $35.57
Final compensation will be within the pay range based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions using evidence-based treatments.
- Create, implement, and continuously monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with the client’s evolving therapeutic needs and goals.
- Provide guidance and coaching during individual client and family meals when clinically indicated, promoting healthy eating behaviors and addressing disordered eating patterns.
- Actively contribute to treatment team discussions by sharing client assessments, family dynamics, and responses to therapeutic interventions.
- Perform comprehensive intake evaluations to assess new clients and inform treatment planning.
- Support the therapeutic environment by assisting with milieu management as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere.
- Generate discharge plans by making treatment and other recommendations and coordinating next-level-of-care services.
- Work closely with external professionals and community agencies to ensure seamless transition and continuity of care post-discharge.
- Therapist II (Independently Licensed) will offer clinical supervision to colleagues when appropriate, depending on licensure and expertise.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a behavioral sciences field required.
- Therapist I: Current Provisional or Associate licensure in the state of employment.
- Therapist II: Current independent licensure in the state of employment.
- Individual, family, or group psychotherapy experience required.
- DBT, CBT, or FBT experience preferred.
- Eating disorders treatment experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
