Job Responsibilities

• Respond and support youth dealing with crisis including but not limited to self-harm, suicidal, and aggressive behaviors.
• Support and process through youth's feelings about past trauma.
• Help the youth to reach stabilization of their behaviors and mindset.
• Evaluate and monitor youth who have demonstrated suicidal and self-harm ideations/behaviors.
• Administer testing for the youth's psychological evaluation.
• Facilitate treatment groups for youth who have completed their evaluation.
• Create safety plans for youth who are returning back into the community.
• Partner with other departments regularly to best assist in supporting youth within the program.

Qualifications

• Possess a Master’s degree in a social work-related field and must be license eligible.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a drug screen (no longer tests for THC for pre-employment).
• Pass a physical examination.
• Pass a search of the Child Abuse Central Registry.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Monday through Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one-hour break.
• Occasionally required evenings and weekends.
