Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health and/or substance use disorder setting (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Limited or Full Licensure in the State of Michigan (e.g., LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, LLP, LP)
- SUD credential preferred, including: MCBAP Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), or CAADC, CAADC-DP or Willediness to obtain SUD credential within a designated timeframe
- Experience working with co-occurring populations strongly preferred
- Valid and unrestricted Michigan Driver’s License and current insurance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EMR systems (e.g., NextGen) preferred
- Ability to successfully pass all pre-employment screening requirements, including a criminal background check and drug screening, consistent with applicable laws and organizational policies.
What We're Looking For
- Conduct screenings, comprehensive assessments, and diagnoses for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Develop and implement individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and collaborate with internal teams, families, and external partners
- Cook up referrals for additional services (e.g., medical, housing, recovery supports) and monitor client engagement
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR system
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet client and program needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
