Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health and/or substance use disorder setting (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Limited or Full Licensure in the State of Michigan (e.g., LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, LLP, LP)
• SUD credential preferred, including: MCBAP Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), or CAADC, CAADC-DP or Willediness to obtain SUD credential within a designated timeframe
• Experience working with co-occurring populations strongly preferred
• Valid and unrestricted Michigan Driver’s License and current insurance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EMR systems (e.g., NextGen) preferred
• Ability to successfully pass all pre-employment screening requirements, including a criminal background check and drug screening, consistent with applicable laws and organizational policies.

What We're Looking For

• Conduct screenings, comprehensive assessments, and diagnoses for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Develop and implement individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and collaborate with internal teams, families, and external partners
• Cook up referrals for additional services (e.g., medical, housing, recovery supports) and monitor client engagement
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR system
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet client and program needs
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training
