Therapist

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist to join our team! The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients in both our Mental Health Program and our Substance Abuse Program, including those with co-occurring conditions, across our Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient levels of care. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, supporting clients in their recovery journey, and promoting long-term wellness. Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients in our Mental Health Program and our Substance Abuse Program, including those with co-occurring disorders
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients
• Facilitate family therapy sessions to engage family members in the recovery process
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with facility policies and confidentiality laws (HIPAA)
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including counselors, nurses, and doctors, to create comprehensive treatment plans
• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate clients on coping strategies, relapse prevention, and stress management
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and refer clients to additional resources or higher levels of care when appropriate
• Ensure that all therapeutic practices align with the ethical standards and regulations of the facility and state laws
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
• Attend and contribute to team meetings, case consultations, and supervision sessions
