About the role
The Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cape May, NJ, responsible for providing direct clinical services to individuals, families, and groups. This includes conducting psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and groups.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and participate in case consultations and supervision.
- Coordinate care with community resources and support crisis intervention when needed.
- Actively contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment aligned with Acenda’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant mental health discipline.
- New Jersey LPC, LAC, LCSW, LSW, LaMFT, or LMFT in good standing.
- Demonstrated ability in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for diverse populations.
- Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices.
- Strong skills in case management, care coordination, and collaboration with community partners.
- Proficiency in maintaining clear, accurate clinical documentation and adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach.
- Ability to manage a consistent caseload and participate in supervision and team meetings.
- Experience in community mental health, crisis services, or family-focused therapy is highly beneficial.
Pay
Starting at $55,000 with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
