Therapeutic Recreation Service Technician - Lifestyle Wellness (Missoula, MT) **Part-Time**

Responsibilities

• Work independently in an assigned location or region.
• Travel via personal or AWARE vehicle to clients or service areas.
• Lead and instruct participants in gaining life skills.
• Plan and lead recreational activities.
• Implement interventions sensitive to client age, cultural background, developmental stage, and limitations.
• Role model by demonstrating and engaging in activities alongside clients to promote positive lifestyle skills.
• Assist the Therapeutic Recreation Program Director (TRPD) in creating intervention protocols with short-term goals.
• Observe client responses to interventions and collaborate with the TRPD and treatment team members.
• Document intervention outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) per policy.
• Provide client information to the TRPD at transition or discharge to assist in formulating a transition/discharge plan.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or HSE is required, along with past employment experience.
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Montana Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Must pass an acceptable criminal and protective services background check.

Pay

Therapeutic recreation service technicians earn $17.75 per hour.
