We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes Summary, Qualifications, Duties, Work Schedule, etc. We must not repeat job title as heading. Use

for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to include sections only when posting has real, specific content. We have content: Summary (about the role) -> we can put under

About the role

with paragraph. Qualifications: there is a long Qualifications section with basic requirements, certification, etc. We can put under

Qualifications

with paragraphs and maybe lists. Responsibilities/Duties: there is a Duties section with many bullet-like sentences. We can put under

Responsibilities

with
  • . Skills: maybe we can extract from "Demonstrated Knowledge - Skills - and Abilities" etc. Could be under

    Skills

with list. Benefits: posting mentions "A Recruitment Incentive and/or Relocation incentive may be offered to a ***Highly Qualified Candidate." Also "Functional Statement #: 93767A Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: May be offered to a highly qualified candidate". So we have benefits: recruitment/relocation incentive. So we can have

    Benefits

with paragraph. Pay: not specified (no salary). So we should NOT include Pay section. Schedule: Work Schedule given: Monday-Friday 08:00am-04:30pm, may change, Telework not available, Virtual not available. So we can include

    Schedule

with paragraph. We must not include placeholder text like "not specified". So only include sections with real content. We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. Must not omit details. So we need to include all details from the posting within those sections. We need to format as HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. We'll produce something like:

    About the role

The John D. Dingell VAMC is recruiting for a Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist (Dosimetrist). The Medical Dosimetrist is a member of the Radiation Oncology team working collaboratively with the Medical Physicist and Radiation Oncologist - meeting cancer patients needs through radiation therapy. A Recruitment Incentive and/or Relocation incentive may be offered to a highly qualified candidate.

But note we already have Benefits section for incentive; we might not duplicate. However the summary includes mention of incentive; we could keep it in About the role or Benefits. Better to keep incentive in Benefits section and not repeat. But we need to preserve all substantive information; we can mention incentive in Benefits and not repeat in About the role. However the summary sentence about incentive is part of summary; we could keep it there but then Benefits would be duplicate. To avoid duplication, we could keep incentive only in Benefits and not repeat in About the role. But then we lose that sentence from summary? The summary also includes the role description. We can keep the role description without incentive. That's okay because we still preserve the substantive info about incentive elsewhere. Thus About the role: just role description. Qualifications: need to include all details: US Citizenship, English proficiency, education (bachelor's degree, graduate from medical dosimetry program >=12 months, accredited by JRCERT or other recognized), exception for pre-2017 graduates meeting MDCB requirements, certification by MDCB, CMD, ARRT(T) if performing therapeutic radiologic technologist duties, note about Consumer-Patient Radiation Health and Safety Act, etc. Also details about non-certified applicants temporary appointment, failure to obtain certification, loss of credential, grade determinations (GS-12 experience), experience details, KSAs, preferred experience (Board Certified with 1-3 years clinical experience including IMRT, VMAT, SBRT planning), reference link, physical requirements, grandfathering provision. We need to preserve all that. Use paragraphs and possibly lists for sub-items. Responsibilities: list of duties from "Duties Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:" then many sentences. We'll convert each sentence to
  • . Skills: from "Demonstrated Knowledge - Skills - and Abilities" and maybe also from "Preferred Experience". We'll extract KSAs: Knowledge of care and use of radioactive resources, skill at effective communication and leadership, skill in providing guidance related to treatment planning, skill to independently perform complex treatment procedures, ability to resolve complex physical and geometric errors, ability to follow protocols, ability to apply broad range of specific methods of radiation measurements. We'll list as
    • . Benefits: recruitment/relocation incentive may be offered to highly qualified candidate. Also maybe mention "Permanent Change of Station (PCS): No". That's not a benefit but could be included. We'll include incentive. Schedule: Work Schedule Monday-Friday 08:00am-04:30pm, may change based on needs, Telework: Not Available, Virtual: Not a virtual position. Also maybe mention Functional Statement #: 93767A (that's metadata, not schedule). We'll include schedule details. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; we can drop them. We must not include boilerplate like EEO etc. Not present. Now produce HTML. Let's craft. We'll need to escape any HTML special characters? Not needed. We'll produce:

      About the role

The John D. Dingell VAMC is recruiting for a Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist (Dosimetrist). The Medical Dosimetrist is a member of the Radiation Oncology team working collaboratively with the Medical Physicist and Radiation Oncologist to meet cancer patients' needs through radiation therapy.

      Qualifications

Applicants must be United States citizens (non‑citizens may be appointed only when qualified citizens cannot be recruited per VA policy) and proficient in spoken and written English.

Education: Effective January 1 2017, candidates must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and have graduated from a medical dosimetry program of at least 12 months in duration that is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or another accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Candidates who graduated before January 1 2017 are considered to have met the basic education requirement if they meet all Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) requirements and are in good standing.

Certification: All applicants must be certified in medical dosimetry by the MDCB; the Certified Medical Dosimetry (CMD) credential is recognized for Medical Dosimetrists. CMDs who also perform therapeutic radiologic technologist duties must possess ARRT(T) certification and be assigned to a functional statement that combines both types of work. The Consumer‑Patient Radiation Health and Safety Act of 1981 (P.L. 97‑35) requires persons administering therapeutic radiological procedures to meet the credentialing standards in 42 C.F.R. 75, which includes completion of an educational program meeting or exceeding those standards and accreditation by a U.S. Department of Education‑recognized body, or being a Radiation Therapist certified in medical dosimetry.

Non‑certified applicants who otherwise meet eligibility may be given a temporary appointment as a graduate under 38 U.S.C. 7405(a)(1)(B). Such individuals may only provide care under the supervision of a certified Medical Dosimetrist at or above the full performance level, may be appointed only at the entry level, and may not be promoted or converted until certification is obtained. Temporary appointments may not exceed two years or be renewed as a new temporary appointment. Failure to obtain certification during this period may result in termination of employment.

Loss of credential: Management must immediately relieve employees who fail to maintain required certification of their duties, which may also result in separation from employment.

Grade determinations (GS‑12): Candidates must have at least one year of creditable experience equivalent to the next lower grade level demonstrating the core competencies described at that level, including responsibility for developing accurate and deliverable complex treatment plans, image importing for fusion, contouring critical structures and tumor volumes, providing input on radiation safety practices, quality standards, and standard operating procedures.

Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

      • Knowledge of the care and use of radioactive resources for implementation and treatment delivery.
      • Skill at effective communication and leadership, demonstrated by providing orientation and training for staff, providing input for yearly appraisals, directing progress and coordination of workload, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and directives to provide continuity of care.
      • Skill in providing guidance and expertise related to all aspects of the treatment planning process.
      • Skill to independently perform complex treatment procedures, evidenced by developing and troubleshooting highly complex isodose treatment plans, delineating critical structures and tumor volumes, performing weekly chart checks, performing QA verifications, and providing training on all aspects of the Record and Verify System (e.g., Mosaiq or Aria).
      • Ability to resolve complex physical and geometric errors in radiation equipment, simulation procedures, and treatment delivery implementation.
      • Ability to follow protocols, including developing and implementing policies and standard operating procedures, participating in research programs, ensuring compliance with the radiation safety office, national program office, and accrediting agencies, and following established quality‑standard measures.
      • Ability to apply a broad range of specific methods of radiation measurements (e.g., diode, ion chamber, thermoluminescent dosimeter, film) as directed by a qualified Medical Physicist, and to perform or assist with QA procedures as directed by a qualified Medical Physicist.

Preferred experience: Board Certified with 1‑3 years of clinical working experience including IMRT, VMAT, and SBRT planning.

Reference: For more information on this qualification standard, see VA Qualification Standards.

Physical requirements: The work requires long periods of standing and walking, some bending and carrying of moderately heavy articles (film cassettes, treatment devices, molds) with heavier lifting of wedges and specially designed shielding blocks. Patients often require assistance to achieve proper positioning, which may involve reaching, lifting, or working in strained positions. Deterioration of the patient due to disease progression may require lifting the patient from stretchers or wheelchairs to treatment and examination tables using special techniques to minimize discomfort. See VA Directive and Handbook 5019.

May qualify based on being covered by the Grandfathering Provision as described in the VA Qualification Standard for this occupation (applicable only to current VHA employees in this occupation who meet the criteria). See also VA Directive and Handbook 5019 – Employee Occupational Health Service.

      Responsibilities

      • Enters irregular fields, patient contours, and other vital beam data into a treatment planning computer in a timely and accurate manner.
      • Enters approved treatment fields into the record and verify system, assuring that all patient data is correctly input and transferred to the treatment machine for treatment.
      • Accurately computes radiation dose to individual ports, tumors, organs of interest, and other necessary body structures to ensure quality treatment and safety of normal tissue.
      • Maintains awareness of dose and tissue tolerance.
      • Drafts one or several isocentric plans, as required, with emphasis on quality of dose distribution, using dosimetric knowledge and parameters set by the treating physician.
      • Submits plan choices to the appropriate physician to aid in determining the best treatment method for specific patient tumors on an individual basis.
